At PrairieWyn Golden Retrievers, we are passionate about preserving and promoting the integrity of the Golden Retriever breed.
Located in the heart of the Midwest, we are a small-scale hobby breeder dedicated to producing exceptional, AKC-registered Golden Retrievers that embody the breed’s hallmark traits — intelligence, sound structure, biddability, and a sweet, loving temperament.
We believe in quality over quantity. Each litter is carefully planned with a focus on health, structure, temperament, and versatility.
Our dogs come from champion bloodlines and undergo comprehensive health testing before breeding. Our goal is to produce puppies that not only meet the AKC breed standard but also thrive in a variety of homes and roles. Golden Retrievers from our program have gone on to shine in conformation, obedience, rally, dog sports, and therapy work — and, most importantly, as loyal and affectionate family companions. We raise each puppy in a hands-on, enriching environment that lays the foundation for confident, well-socialized dogs. In addition to breeding, we provide ongoing training and support to our puppy families. Whether you are new to the breed or a seasoned dog owner, we are here to guide you every step of the way.
