GRCA Revised OS/OD Requirements

Effective January 1, 2004

 

 

 

 

OUTSTANDING SIRE – To be awarded the GRCA Outstanding Sire designation, a sire must have produced a minimum number

of qualifying progeny AND those qualifying progeny must have a minimum number of points based on the AKC or GRCA

titles earned by the qualifying progeny.

An Outstanding Sire must have produced at least five (5) qualifying progeny who have earned

(1) (A) a 4 point or higher AKC or GRCA title

OR

(B) any combination of two 3-point AKC or GRCA titles on the same dog

Note: No more than two progeny with this 3/3 point combination of titles on the same dog, may qualify

towards achieving an Outstanding Sire designation.

AND

(2) The qualifying progeny must have a total point sum of their AKC or GRCA titles of at least 24 title points based on the

table below.

Note: The title of FC or AFC on a dog will count as two qualifying progeny towards the Outstanding Sire designation.

OUTSTANDING DAM – To be awarded the GRCA Outstanding Dam designation, a dam must have produced a minimum

number of qualifying progeny AND those qualifying progeny must have a minimum number of points based on the AKC or

GRCA titles earned by the qualifying progeny.

An Outstanding Dam must have produced at least three (3) qualifying progeny who have earned:

(1) (A) a 4 point or higher AKC or GRCA title

OR

(B) any combination of two 3 point AKC or GRCA titles on the same dog

Note: No more than one progeny with this 3/3 point combination of titles on the same dog, may qualify

towards achieving an Outstanding Dam designation.

AND

(2) The qualifying progeny must have a total point sum of their AKC or GRCA titles of at least 16 title points based on the

table below.

Note: The title of FC or AFC on a dog will count as two qualifying progeny towards the Outstanding Dam designation.
